Rough-In Coordination Drawings On CAD

Rough-Ins - Once a final kitchen design is in scope, along with a cut booklet and utility schedule.


We will begin our Rough-In process. Our first step is to ensure that the cut booklet and the Utility schedule match. We will review and double-check the provided documents. Below is a bit more of our process


  • On Auto CAD - (Request Version) Full Set of PDFs - Will show the utility connections needed for the requested space. We have a standard symbols page that we use, but will integrate your standards. Typically, we call out finished floor heights for each piece of equipment that needs utilities. 


 Format-

  • Sheet 1- Plumbing Connections Plan . Refer to bullets below for more info.
  • Sheet 2- Electrical Connections Plan. Refer to bullets below for more info.
  • Sheet 3- Special Conditions Plan.  Refer to bullets below for more info.
  • Sheet 4- 2D Elevation if requested.
  • Will include dimensions if needed


  • Sheet 1 -Plumbing Connections Plan - Includes: Symbols that will represent Floor Drains, Floor Sinks, Direct Wastes, Hot & Cold water connections. 


  • Sheet 2- Electrical Connections Plan -  Includes:Symbols that will represent Outlets, Junction Boxes, and Data connections.


  • Sheet 3 - Special Conditions Plan, Includes: Proper text styles and annotations to call out wall backing behind equipment that requires it. 


We are NOT a Food Service Design Consultant Firm, simply a service to assist the process. All Plans Must be Reviewed By The Client.
